Toei Animation Europe is celebrating the return of the best-loved anime franchise Dragon Ball at the Kazachok Licensing Forum in Paris this week, April 19 & 20, and is holding a Dragon Ball Super event this Wednesday, April 19, 2017, where the licensing industry will be able to discover the franchise's latest developments and great opportunities. Professionals attending the Forum are invited to come and meet with the team on booth #C14.
Bandai is launching its Dragon Ball Super toy line this Spring, and new licensees are joining the craze as the program grows stronger. Kaze (school diaries and calendars), Sun City (apparel), and Panini (sticker album) are among the first announced partners in France.
As a flagship program for TURNER’s superhero channel Toonami, Dragon Ball Super launched in France on January 17, with massive advertising effort that includes nationwide outdoor campaign. Among the channel’s distributors, Canal and Orange have also chosen to highlight the series in their advertising. The buzz has been tremendous for the series and the channel, which reaches 6.3 million households in France.
